As a facility of St Vincents & Mater Health Sydney, the Mater Hospital comes under the umbrella of the St Vincent’s Health Australia group, which is Australia’s largest not-for-profit Catholic health and aged care provider. The Mater Hospital is governed by the Board of St Vincent’s Health Australia, which also administers numerous other St Vincent’s health and aged care facilities. The Mater is also represented at a local level by the St Vincents & Mater Health Sydney Community Council.
The Mater Hospital is managed by Robert Cusack, Executive Director, St Vincent's Private & Mater Hospitals, and Barbara Paris, Director of Nursing and Clinical Services.
