“After a life threatening illness, I found the relaxation sessions provided by Christina D'Albora from Pastoral Care Services one of the highlights of my stay in the Mater Hospital. I looked forward to every session. Talking to someone who was spiritual and not medical was refreshing. Some sessions Christina taught me how to take one day at a time and appreciate being alive. Others required no discussion, just simply listening to music to help me relax in a less than relaxing environment and situation. I feel this was as important to my recovery as antibiotics. I cannot recommend this service enough to all patients."
Dr Amanda Stephen, former patient.
