Our values derive from the mission and traditions of the Sisters of Charity and Sisters of Mercy and give form to all of our activities. The spirit that inspired our founding Sisters remains as true today as it did over 105 years ago.
In the words of the late Cardinal Bernadin:
“Our distinctive vocation in Christian healthcare is not so much to heal (physical diseases) better or more efficiently than anyone else; it is to bring comfort to people by giving them an experience that will strengthen their confidence in life. The ultimate goal of our care is to give those who are ill… a reason to hope… in this we find the Christian vocation that makes our healthcare truly distinctive.”
