As a not-for-profit organisation, significant importance is placed on the delivery of compassionate care within a positive working environment – an environment that encompasses personal and professional development.

As a facility of St Vincents & Mater Health Sydney, over 6,500 people are employed across healthcare, management and support services and on any given day the organisation hosts up to 250 undergraduate and 100 postgraduate students.

Fundraising for the rights of children in South Africa
Nicola McGlynn, Nurse Educator and Midwife at the Mater Hospital is a proud volunteer of the philanthropic organisation Friends of Operation Bobbi Bear. The Australian based not-for-profit supports Operation Bobbi Bear, a charity that fights for the rights of sexually abused children in South Africa.
