100 years nurse education

On the 12th of May 2011, International Nurses Day, the Mater Hospital held a special event to recognise and honour all Mater Nurse Graduates and to celebrate 100 years of Mater Nurse education.

Fundraising for the rights of children in South Africa
Nicola McGlynn, Nurse Educator and Midwife at the Mater Hospital is a proud volunteer of the philanthropic organisation Friends of Operation Bobbi Bear. The Australian based not-for-profit supports Operation Bobbi Bear, a charity that fights for the rights of sexually abused children in South Africa.
