Patients with urgent cardiovascular problems may be referred directly to the 24 hour Cardiovascular Emergency Service (CVES) by their General Practitioner or Cardiovascular Specialist. *
The on-call Cardiologist is immediately contacted, a bed is made available and the patient can be admitted directly to ICU, either by private or ambulance transfer.
The aim of CVES is to provide a direct, efficient tertiary referral service in a private hospital setting for patients with acute cardiovascular issues including arrhythmias and heart failure, as well as those with acute vascular problems.
Click here for more details on CVES.
* Patients must be privately insured.
