Mater Physicians offer a 24/7 on-call service which provides a comprehensive General Physicians cover that is available to both Mater accredited Specialists and also to the wider General Practitioner community. The Physicians may be contacted to consult with medically unwell patients prior to admission, pre-operatively, or following surgery. They are also available to receive direct calls or referrals from the General Practitioner with peri or post operative queries.
